Tourism in Jamaica has long been filtered through resort walls and generic brochures.
Caribee was born out of frustration — and love. Frustration with how the island is often packaged for profit, and love for the deeper stories, places, and people that rarely make it onto the map. We built Caribee to shift that narrative.

"Growing up between cultures, I always felt a deep love for Jamaica - not just for its beauty, but for its soul. But every time I saw the way the island was marketed to the world, I felt something was missing. The resorts, the rehearsed smiles, the watered-down version of our heritage - that wasn’t the Jamaica I knew. I built Caribee to change that.
This isn’t just a travel app. It’s a way to reconnect people - to their roots, to each other, and to something real. It’s about giving travellers the tools to explore with intention, and giving local communities the platform to thrive on their own terms. Jamaica is more than a destination. It’s a living culture, and Caribee is my way of honouring that - one journey at a time"
